A Living Act of Love

This website was created by Mr. Richard Warren Pease and Ms. Heidi Elizabeth Botscharovva as an act of love.

Richard and Mary Ruth had created an informal program by inviting homeless good people through their church into their abode. However, after a healthy amount of time, Mary Ruth had relocated to living at the alzheimer's specialty nursing home, Garden Terrace, and Richard, the caretaker of the family home, was alone for a short period after a series of hearts given a safe place to temporarily stay.

In Mary Ruth’s honor, he had kept his doors open as an act of love, and to keep his beloved wife’s memory alive. In the icy spring of 2018, Heidi was welcomed and given a safe place after being left behind in her cold apartment for a month without electricity, a washer, dryer, or a bed. She had been given grace to sleep on the floor of the apartment to perfect it’s cleaning, before asking for help by her desired church of choice, a complicated story.

Heidi was welcomed into the home, and after a two and a half years, had fallen in love with the memory, the legacy, and the Mary Ruth she had become acquainted with at Garden Terrace. With her background in Grief Counseling and CNA Training, she helped create a home with Richard and care for family, friends, and church with him.

The creation of this website is to her dedication, her aspirations, and her ability to accomplish her dreams. It is an act of gratitude, for without her kind and compassionate heart, Richard would not have only have found the love of his life, but not have found Heidi and sudo adopted her as his Granddaughter, and Heidi would not have found her life’s passions validated and the father figure of her dreams.

Dear Mary Ruth,

Thank you.
